SCHOOL MEALS

The school will be providing in-house provision from 1st September 2025; meals will cost £2.95.

Meals should be booked in advance through Scopay and can be pre-ordered in advance every half-term or 2 days in advance. Please advise the school as a matter of urgency if your child has any allergies, intolerances, food issues and dietary requirements. There are full guides for parents below which will show step-by-step instructions as to how to order meals. There is also another Scopay guide which covers such areas as adding another child to your scopa account etc. Please use these guides in the first instance prior to contacting the school office. Thank you

UNIVERSAL INFANT FREE SCHOOL MEALS (UIFSM)

Current government policy means that all children from reception to Year 2 (inclusive) are provided school meals free of charge. Parents may register on schoolgrid above and there will be no payment requested for the school provided meal offered.

BENEFIT RELATED FREE SCHOOL MEALS

If you feel that your child may be entitled to free school meals due to your current household income or circumstances then you need to please apply via the Gov.Uk website. There is information on this link where you can apply and also find information.

If you have any questions about applying for FSM then please contact the school office. The school does also have a functionality to check eligibility for FSM which requires parents to submit their birth date and National Insurance Number (NINO). Please ask for details.

Children will automatically be able to receive free school-provided meals between Rec. and Yr 2 under the above UIFSM guidelines. However, if you are eligible under the benefit-related free school meal option, parents should still apply and check eligibility with the school even if your child is in the age category above, as this can unlock school benefits. It is very important that children who are eligible are recorded as such as this not only opens up opportunities for you as a family but also releases funding for the school, known as Pupil Premium. This pupil premium funding is then allocated and used according to current published guidance. Please see further information on our spending of Pupil Premium on the Key Information section of this website.
