We expect all children attending clubs to be polite and courteous to staff. If a child continually does not attend or there is a behaviour issue at a club, they may lose their place. Please note that all school-run club places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

CHILDCARE & CLUBS

A child may attend a club and then go on to the wrap-around childcare option for the second hour after school if required. Please book your childcare places via the Scopay app and email Mrs Christopherson (Wrap around childcare lead person)  directly on childcare@birch.essex.sch.uk. The before-school breakfast club costs £6.75 for the session. After-school childcare is known as our Tea-Time Tigers club. This costs £6 per hour. Parents may book their child for one hour (3.20-4.20pm) or two hours (4.20-5.20pm ). Wherever possible, we ask that parents book childcare prior to the day/week required. Parents are not able to book via the app on the day. Of course, if an on-the day arrangement needs to be made, or you would like to add your child on the day, you need to please telephone the school.

 

Refunds will not be given for any cancellation of your child's booked space on the day as staffing will already been planned.

 AUTUMN TERM 2026 SCHOOL CLUBS OFFER

 

There have been no clubs agreed for the Autumn term at present.With the recent change in Sports premium funding any club decisions will be made and added accordingly if any are agreed.Please note that the school's wrap around childcare will continue to run as an offer before and after school.
