Class 1 is a mixed-aged class of Reception and Year one children.  The class teacher is Mrs Vinters and the teaching assistant is Mrs Lawrence.  Class 1 is a mixed-aged class of Reception and Year one children. For phonics work, the year one children join an age and stage appropriate group whilst Reception begin their phonic journey together. These groups are assessed and changed each half-term, where necessary. For maths, the year one children join the year one children from Class 2 to work specifically on the year one curriculum. Year ones also join the Class 2 year ones for various other subjects e.g. Science.
